David Hoare is a one-liner-musical-comedian; mixing silly, staccato songs with idiotic mischievousness!
David is based in Bristol, where he runs the hugely popular Chops Comedy Club with Stuart Goldsmith, and hosts the podcast ‘Waking Up With A Hoare’, interviewing comedians about their morning routines.
He won the Audience Favourite Prize at the Musical Comedy Awards 2021 and has done tour support for the likes of Alison Spittle, Mark Nelson, Lauren Pattison and Dr Ed Patrick.
David Hoare: ‘How to Live to 100’
Last year, David missed the Fringe to attend a 100th birthday party and found the inspiration for his new show and a long life.
In ‘How to Live to 100’, David explores how one goes about living to 100, which parts of his life he is doing right and what need improvement with that goal in mind. And how much can he control, anyway?
Has being born with a collapsed lung, and requiring multiple surgeries before the age of seven, affected David’s chances of reaching 100? Can he learn more from a centenarian living a life of leisure, or from his mere 99-year-old relative who survived D-Day?
David says: “Everyone wants to live to 100 and I know exactly how to do it. If you would like to find out how, then you had better come see my show!”
