Julian Hall
Julian is an established writer, PR and director, and author of The Rough Guide to British Cult Comedy. Before founding Textual Healing PR, Julian spent ten years as The Independent’s comedy critic.
Julian’s past and present PR clients include 2025 Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Show Winner Sam Nicoresti, Best Show Nominees Ian Smith (2023, 2025) and Spencer Jones (2017), and many other fabulous acts, including Richard Gadd, Laura Lexx, Olaf Falafel, Alex Kealy, Pierre Novellie, Bella Hull, Simon Munnery, Chelsea Birkby, Geoff Norcott, Sikisa, Jonny Pelham, Rosalie Minnitt, Milo Edwrads, Amelia Hamilton, Bilal Zafar and Ben Pope.
Julian has also directed Edinburgh Fringe shows for Bilal Zafar, Sasha Ellen, Pierre Novellie and Inder Manocha, and given show notes for many more, including Glenn Moore, Isma Almas, Matt Winning and Alex Edelman.
Outside of his PR work, Julian ran the SE1 Comedy night in London Bridge and created and co-hosted the live online show Let’s Kill Twitter (2020-2022), with a series of top comedian guests.

Jenny Rollason
Jenny worked in marketing and PR for over a decade before committing herself to full time comedy promotion. She has been part of the Textual Healing PR team since 2025, and is also Head of Marketing at The Gaffe Comedy Club in Bristol and one of the organisers of The Bristol Comedy Festival – the largest comedy festival in the South West UK. She has previously been a judge for the ISH Edinburgh Comedy Awards and helps run The Bristol Comedy Competition.
In her spare time, she has convinced more than 15,000 people that they want to see pictures of her allotment on Instagram.
